Client Project — Lead-Generation Website for a Trade
Argyll Roofing
Earned reputation, structured → quote-first journey → one-tap contact.

Argyll Roofing is a family-run roofing company that has worked on Paisley’s roofs since 1988 — a Renfrewshire Trusted Trader since 2012, with 136+ reviews at around 4.9 out of 5. The reputation already existed; the website’s job was to put it to work for the people who now look online first. Quote-first structure, the earned numbers surfaced on the first screen, and one-tap contact for a customer standing under a leak.
The challenge
Thirty-five years of word-of-mouth, no shopfront for the people who search first. A roofing customer is often someone with an urgent problem and a phone in their hand — the site has to prove trustworthiness in seconds, then make the next step effortless.
What we built
A quote-first journey
“Get a quote” leads everywhere — to a dedicated page with a structured form (what’s wrong, best time to call), a reassurance strip answering the doubts people actually have, and a prefilled WhatsApp link for sending photos of the problem.
Proof surfaced, not buried
Established 1988, 4.9/5, 136+ reviews, Trusted Trader since 2012 — the numbers the company earned over decades sit in a stat band on the first screen, with a dedicated reviews page behind them.
The full service map
Six service areas from urgent repairs to complete new roofs, each deep-linkable, backed by a gallery of real jobs and written case studies.
Key user journeys
Urgent repair
Water coming in → Roof Repairs → quote form with photos via WhatsApp, or one tap to call — whichever suits the person on the ladder-less side of the leak
Key capabilities
- One-tap phone call and a prefilled WhatsApp message from every page
- “Photos & videos welcome” quote intake — faster, more accurate quotes
- Trusted Trader accreditation shown and dated, not just claimed
- Stat band of earned numbers: est. 1988, 4.9/5, 136+ reviews
Visual walkthrough

The reputation the company already earned — established 1988, 4.9 from 136+ reviews — surfaced in the first screen instead of buried in an about page.

The quote page: a structured form, reassurance placed exactly where doubt lives, and WhatsApp for photos of the problem.

A reviews page built on the company’s Renfrewshire Trusted Trader record — proof with a source, not testimonials without one.
Technical approach
- Hand-built, statically rendered pages — fast on a phone at the roadside, which is where roofing customers actually are.
- One-tap tel: and prefilled WhatsApp links throughout, because an urgent leak is not a contact-form moment.
What this demonstrates
The trades playbook: a business’s earned reputation, structured into a website built to convert it. The same discipline as Block & Bolt — a different trade, the same honest machinery.
