Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Aleksio Digital (“we”, “us”) operates the website at https://aleksiodigital.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is used when you visit our site or submit a form.

2. Information we collect

When you submit our project enquiry form or Free Website Review form, we collect the information you provide directly — typically your name, business name, email address, and any phone number, website address, project details or message you choose to share. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking on this site.

If you book an intro call, we also store the booking itself — your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, anything you chose to tell us about the topic, and the time slot — so the call can actually happen and the slot can’t be double-booked. This is deleted automatically 30 days after the call takes place, or immediately if you cancel using the link in your confirmation email.

If you sign a project agreement with us, we keep the agreement itself — the scope, price, terms, your name and email, and the signing record (time, IP address and device) — for as long as the law expects contract records to be kept. Unlike call bookings, agreements are contracts and do not auto-delete.

We also record your IP address automatically when a form is submitted. This is used only to count how many submissions have come from the same connection in the past hour, so that our forms cannot be used to send large volumes of unwanted email. It is not linked to your enquiry, is not used to identify or profile you, and is not used for analytics.

We measure how the site is used in two ways. The first is privacy-friendly analytics provided by Vercel, which records aggregate page views and loading performance. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you between sites, so it runs for every visitor. The second is Google Analytics, which does set cookies — it is switched off by default and only runs if you choose to accept it.

3. How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a requested website review, and, where relevant, to follow up about a potential project. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We rely on our legitimate interests as the basis for handling this information — responding to people who contact us, and keeping our forms secure against automated abuse. Google Analytics is the exception: because it stores cookies on your device, we rely on your consent, and it does nothing until you give it.

4. Third-party processors

We use a small number of providers to run this site. Each processes data on our behalf, under our instructions, and none of them use it for their own purposes:

• Resend — email delivery. Used to send your form submission to our inbox, and to send you a confirmation that we have received it.
• Upstash — a database holding the short-lived submission counts described in section 2 and, if you book a call, the booking details. Both delete themselves automatically — counts within an hour, bookings 30 days after the call.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly analytics. Vercel serves this website and, like any web host, processes technical request data including IP addresses in order to deliver pages and maintain security. Its analytics are cookieless and aggregate.
• Google Analytics — site usage measurement, and the only thing here that sets cookies. Off unless you accept it, and it can be switched back off at any time using the control below.
• Anthropic — used only if you choose to describe your project in your own words on the enquiry form. That sentence is sent to Anthropic’s API so the form can pre-select the closest options for you. Nothing else is sent with it — no name, email or other details — and it is not used to train any model. Leave that box empty and nothing is sent at all.

5. Data retention

We retain enquiry and review-request information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain a record of our communications, after which it is deleted.

The submission counts described in section 2 are deleted automatically one hour after the last submission from that connection. We keep no longer-term record of visitor IP addresses.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@aleksiodigital.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “last updated” date above.
